Plot: a young woman checks herself into a mental facility to get over her fear of the boogeyman only to realize he may be in there with her.
This movie treats you like you are stupid and though it has good effects and boob shots, it has zero Freddy Claws. This movie is also highly unrealistic. It even tries to undo the first one with a stupid retelling of Barry being the killer.
Laura and Henry watch their parents get offed by the boogeyman, Henry goes though a course of treatment at a facility and seems cured so Laura checks in after him.
A boy who is afraid of the dark goes into the deep dark basement to get high…why??!!
The won’t let her take the closet door off it’s hinges but they’ll let the germophobe keep all his shit in plastic bins and bags with a bunch of potentially dangerous chemicals.
Turns out to be her brother the whole time so does the boogeyman exist or not??!!
At the end everyone thinks she is the killer.
All in all it had a good production value and got a 25 from Tara and a 30/100 from me
