The Slayer (1982)

Directed by J. S. Cardone.  Written by Cardone and Bill Ewing.  Starring Sarah Kendall, Frederick Flynn, Carol Kottenbrook and Alan McRae.

Plot: 4 friends face off against a supernatural beast on a secluded island

Kay (Kendall) has dreams about a monster and when she dreams, that monster is able to come into the real world.  No one believes this though and they act accordingly, splitting up whenever possible.

This movie has no boob shots for some reason when it had opportunity to.  The acting is way over-the-top and the characters keep making poor decisions.  There is no motive and DJ didn’t like the monster, although I kinda did.  Good news, it followed the rules it made and it was funny.  Unintentionally funny, but funny.

My score: 20.  DJ’s score: 15.
