The Funhouse Massacre (2015)

Directed by Andy Palmer.  Written by Ben Begley and Renee Dorian.  Starring Robert Englund, E.E. Bell, Jere Burns, Mars Crain, Courtney Gains, Clint Howard, Sebastian Siegel, Scottie Thompson and Candice De Visser.

Plot: a group of maniacs escape from an asylum and descend upon a funhouse where they take up killing again because everyone just thinks the gore is part of the show

There are 6 maniacs – Hannibal the Cannibal (who serves customers to other customers), Dr. Suave (a crazy dentist), The Taxidermist (stuffs people, too!), Rocco the Clown (a wrestler who killed in the ring), Mental Manny (a cult leader) and Dollface (the only girl, likes knives a lot, also goes by Stitch Face and my favorite, Stitch Bitch).

This movie is hilarious.  It’s stupid funny, but it’s funny.  We’d definately watch it again.  No thinking is required.  You just watch it and have fun.  And if you like gore, there is PLENTY of it.  It was innovative, original, had likable characters, a terrific script and fantastic effects.

The only bad things are that Robert isn’t in it more and that the ending kind of sucks.  The movie treated us like we were stupid and didn’t understand what had happened, but it wasn’t that hard to figure out really.

Our score: 69.
