Plot: environmental activists, lumberjacks and members of a big corporation must work together after an enhanced form of tree sap turns people into zombies
In this little indie feature, lumberjacks have to deal with protesters who are known to have been violent in the past to get what they want. So, in comes the company that hired the lumberjacks. Besides trying to get rid of the protesters, they’re also doing some experiments on the sap they’ve found. Because, as it turns out, the sap is deadly and can infect people and turn them into zombies. Which is exactly what begins to happen.
The best thing about the movie is the acting and the character development. There’s nice emotion in it and you actually believe that the main girl lost her boyfriend. The only real problem with the movie was the ending. It was a real downer. However, we still liked it enough to watch it more than once. And to recommend it to you.
Our score: 74.
