Not even Stephen King likes this movie apparently, but we really, really like it.  The scenerio is freaky.  There’s no place to hide.  It’s original, followed all the rules it laid out, had an awesome cast, a moderate amount of Freddy Claws (only some people were idiots), an impressive opening and a magical ending that probably wouldn’t exist if it were made now.  Too many people survive.  Nowadays, they wouldn’t let that many people survive.

It’s a cult classic really though and we can’t believe it doesn’t get more love.

Our score: 74.
