Plot: a genetically engineered virus turns passengers aboard a 747 into zombies
I’d start with laying out the plot a little more definitively, but there isn’t much more to it. A dead body is brought on board, it gets up, bites one man and then another and they all turn into zombies. Unfortunately, for the viewer, a lot of the people on the plane are either morons or assholes. Fortunately though, it’s a really fun movie.
“Crisp” from Kindergarten Cop leads the good guys as a TSA Marshal. Along with him are a cop, a criminal, a golfer and a flight attendant that are all pretty cool. The golfer’s wife is there, too, but she’s a bit of a bitch. Complaining about him giving out autographs and things. Like, whatever, you married him.
The movie is never dull. The zombie make up is really fantastic, but some of the other effects fell flat. Like when some people got shot, it didn’t look the best. Still, there was lovely innovation (the golfer using the club to kill was cool), an interesting script and a great cast. There weren’t any boobs though and there could have been. But honestly, I was too impressed that some people actually got to live that I didn’t mind much.
