Plot: a mother releases unimaginable horrors into her new home
First off, the whole “disappoints room” was an interesting concept that we had never heard before. A disappoints room is where they used to keep children with special needs or “defects” of some sort. So, the premise was good, but the execution was, well, disappointing. Wentworth Miller should definitely just stick to acting.
DJ hated Kate’s character. He didn’t believe her and that’s pretty important. It also wasn’t very scary. And there was no Freddy Claws. We would like another movie about disappoint rooms made because we really like the idea and we know someone else could do something better with it.
The only really amazing thing about the movie were the specials. So, of course, we can’t recommend. See if you can find another movie with this subject matter and let us know so we can watch it.
Our score: 32.
