Plot: a group of young people camping in Turkey play a party game that turns deadly
Filmed in Italy, not Turkey, this movie follows a group of people playing “Murder in the Dark”. It’s a mystery game where you have to figure out who the killer is. The tables soon turn though, when someone in the bunch decides to turn into a real murderer. But the acting isn’t great, especially by the father. No one was likable either. There could have been boobs, but there weren’t. It was a stupid motive. There were no rules. And there was horrible Freddy Claws.
They had this interesting filming process, too. Apparently actors weren’t allowed to look at the script and they were given curve balls at the last minute just to see what they would do with them. It was almost like reality TV. But it didn’t turn out to be anything special. DJ hated it and I gotta, kinda agree.
My score: 22. DJ’s score: 17.
