Poltergeist (1982)

Written by Steven Spielberg, Michael Grais and Mark Victor

Directed by Tobe Hooper

Starring Craig T Nelson, Jo Beth Williams, Zelda Rubinstein and James Karen

Plot: a family’s house is haunted because, they only moved the headstones but not the bodies!!

This movie is an absolute classic! Watch it for the adorable Zelda Rubinstein alone. Watch it during a storm, it is awesome! However why these people stay in the house for one minute after all that crazy stuff happens i’ll never know. The one person is far too excited that things move across the floor by themselves.

Very original, follows rules, great script, great acting, nice effects, superb direction and overall good story. Fantastic, memorable and classic ending.

I fortunately had the pleasure of meeting Jo Beth Williams and got to tell her how much i enjoyed the movie and her performance in particular, i also told her i have the hugest crush on her since the first time i saw the movie way back.

To summarize, we both loved this horror classic because it is so well made, has some good scares and phenomenal acting. Tara gave it an 83/100 and I gave it a 92/100. If you haven’t already, haven’t in a while or just love it like we do, watch this one!!!
