Gruesome-Banner-TheDiabolical-review

To start, I will say that this movie had a very solid opening and was definitely intense.  A mother and her two children are haunted by an apparition that tries to hurt the kids.  But whenever they try to leave the house the kids get really really sick.  So, of course, they’re stuck in the house.

From there the plot gets really convoluted, really pointless and really embarrassing.  It was so hard to score because we were so confused.  It turns out to be about time travel in the end and that’s NOT a good thing in this case.  What else isn’t good?  The rules.  The motive.  The Freddy Claws.  There’s awesome special effects, but it’s unrealistic as shit and we nearly hated it.

Our score: 26.
