Plot: another killer terrorizes Sidney and her friends on the set of Stab 3.
For some reason, Sidney (Campbell) is living out in the middle of nowhere, pretending to be Laura. Personally, we would be in the center of a major city with lots of neighbors and lots of dogs, a lot like we live right now actually. LOL. But instead of that, PTSD bound Sidney, spends her days alone. That is until she finds out that Cotton Weary (Schreiber) has been killed in gruesome fashion. Then, she comes to the movie set of Stab 3, reuniting with Dewey (Arquette) and Gale (Cox) and making new friends who are sure to die.
This movie is about on par with the second for me. There’s just too much of the ridiculous about it for it to be a great movie. But still too entertaining for it to suck completely. But why do they split up so much? The killer/s doesn’t attack people when they’re together. The fight scenes are also hilarious. Sidney shouldn’t be able to take some of those hits as easily as she does. We didn’t really like the twist when you find out who is behind it, but the acting is good, the dialogue is funny and the movie was well-made.
My score: 48. DJ’s score: 41.
