Plot: an insufferable med student believes there is “something” wrong with her cadaver.
Alison (English) is a medical student assigned to a cadaver she nicknames “Norma”. She finds signs of self-injurious behavior on Norma and soon believes that there is something wrong with her cadaver. Then, mysterious deaths start to occur in the hospital, seemingly to anyone who dare disrespect Norma.
Now, the story is a good one and would have been halfway decent, but we hated the main character. I mean, hated. We were just waiting for her to die. She’s a walking contradiction is the problem. She starts asking everyone to help her, but then says she doesn’t want anyone else involved. She says she doesn’t “believe” in anything, but goes around having “feelings” the whole movie. She’s arrogant as hell, too. It’s horrible.
The specials were good, but we wanted more out of this story. And the end was the kind of bullshit that they keep churning out. Nothing new. Nothing extraordinary.
Our score: 27.
