Plot: a police officer and a psychologist investigate the deaths of a group of people.
Detective Lewis (Grillo) and Dr. Elizabeth Klein (Bello) find a single survivor at a crime scene in Louisiana. John (Milligan), the survivor, tells them that his girlfriend, Michelle (Horn) and her ex-boyfriend, Bryan (Mechlowicz) are missing because they all performed a seance and things, as they do, went horribly wrong.
So as not to give things away, I’ll just tell you why NOT to watch it:
- It’s super unrealistic. They all agree to stay in the house even after one of them is drug down a hallway.
- It’s kinda boring. Wasn’t very entertaining at all actually.
- Not even a cast this good could prevail against this ill-conceived plot.
- It was unoriginal. It’s been done before. And better.
- The rules were stupid.
- No real character development. You didn’t learn enough about anyone to care whether they lived or not.
- We didn’t see enough of the murders. And they should’ve done more scary stuff with the ghosts.
- The twist was shit. So stupid. We’ve seen this done before as well.
Don’t watch it. That’s all we can really tell you.
