Directed by Diederik van Rooijen. Written by Brian Sieve. Starring Shay Mitchell, Grey Damon, Kirby Johnson, Louis Herthum, Max McNamara, Stana Katic, and Nick Thune.
Plot: working the graveyard shift in a morgue, an ex-cop experiences bizarre and horrifying events caused by an evil entity in one of the corpses.
Megan (Mitchell) takes the 11pm – 7am shift at the morgue after her job as a cop goes sideways. See, she failed to stop a criminal from killing her partner and turned to drugs to cope. Out of rehab and off the pills, she takes the new job, but then Hannah Grace (Johnson) comes in.
Hannah’s father, Grainger (Herthum) breaks into the morgue to steal Hannah’s body. He says he needs to cremate it. When he tries, the guards that work with Megan subdue him and call the police to have him taken away. Personally, me and DJ don’t need jobs this bad. Because after that, it just gets worse.
There’s some gruesome death scenes in this movie. Our favorite character, Randy (Thune) was sadly one of them. But the only thing we didn’t like about the movie was how invincible “Hannah” was. Other than that, it was pretty good. It made my hair stand on end. Would not watch it alone. There were a lot of likable characters. It was realistic. It had a perfect cast, superb effects and a solid story. We totally recommend.
My score: 68. DJ’s score: 65.
