Silent Night (2012)

Directed by Steven C. Miller.  Written by Jayson Rothwell.  Starring Jamie King, Malcolm McDowell, Donal Logue and Brendan Fehr (for like a minute).

Plot: basically it’s just about the police tracking a killer in a Santa suit

silent-night

“Santa” goes on a killing spree in this movie, but for the most, his motives aren’t all bad.  He spends a reasonable amount of time killing pervs, adulterers, rapists and other amoral characters.  Of course, he does end up going after the good guys too, and then he must be stopped.

Murders are committed with genius innovation.  Santa uses everything from wood chippers to cattle prods to take people out.  It’s all pretty awesome.  Honestly, me and DJ consider it to be one of the best Christmas horror movies ever.  It has a great cast, great effects, it followed rules, there were boob shots and a good ending, too.

It was just plain fun.  I give it an 85/100 and DJ gives it an 82.
