This direct-to-video sequel is about a new girl in town, Jenny (Dolenz) and her new friends, who go and hit an old witch on the road.  When they go to her house later to see if she’s okay, they discover vials of blood and they end up performing a ritual over Pumpkinhead’s body.  So, he wakes up and starts killing people.

We totally didn’t hate this movie, but of course, it’s not better than the original.  The script and dialogue could have used some major work.  The acting, I think, suffered a little because of it.  It was also a bit unrealistic.  But it’s got a good motive and it followed the rules it laid out.  All in all, it’s a decent movie.  Average.  Watch it if you enjoyed the first one and would like to see Pumpkinhead again.

My score: 52.  DJ’s score: 55.
