Ethan Hawke moves into a murder house and doesn’t tell his wife.  But we kind of don’t blame only him.  He’s a terrible liar really and the wife never figures it out?  Maybe it’s cause she doesn’t want to.  Mr. Boogie was scary though, but his back story sucked.  And if he came from the dark ages, how does he have modern clothes?  Did he go shopping?

It was a bit of a letdown because my hopes were too high I suppose.  It had potential, but it crapped out.  We had a friend watch it with us and when the movie was over all she could say was, “Ain’t that a bitch!”  I guess that sums up the ending.

I recommend it as a mediocre horror movie.  Run of the mill.  Same old, same old.  It won’t astonish, but it will entertain well enough.  DJ doesn’t recommend it at all.

My score: 54.  DJ’s score: 37.
