Plot: a gang of inept young crooks fight zombies in the east end of London
2 brothers decide to rob a bank. There reason is pretty sweet, but their skills aren’t. The bank manager alerts the police and soon they’re surrounded. They make an escape plan which involves taking hostages, but when they get outside they find the police dead and zombies everywhere.
This movie is very funny. Very. Love the old people at the retirement home that the crooks try to eventually save. There is the best chase scene ever involving a man with a walker. It was hysterical. Just watch it and see.
One of the zombies in the film looks an awful lot like the “backyard zombie” in the robe in Shaun of the Dead. We think it’s a blatant homage. Whatever it is though, it’s good.
The movie has cool death scenes, it followed the rules it laid out and it had an awesome and optimistic script – which I feel is nice and pleasantly different. The acting is nice and it’s a smart story with a good beginning, middle and end. No boob shots, but still a very fun watch. Only 2 people in the whole thing were really annoying, so we were happy that so many of them survive.
Our score: 90/100.
