In this kickstarted movie, Sadie (Balsamo) and Ronelle (Samuels) join their professor (Winston) on Sadie’s grandfather’s (Henriksen) ship to study the effects of global warming on whales.  Thinking they found a whale beneath the surface, it ends up being a Russian ship that they immediately investigate.  They find a body that seems to have died from some sort of infection.  And like I said, the body disappears and then people start to die.

It’s a lot like Aliens meets The Thing, but in a very uninteresting way.  It’s boring and really gross.  It’s unoriginal and unrealistic.  And the acting could have used some work, too.  Except for Lance.  Lance was cool.  But Lance is always cool.

Overall, we don’t recommend it.

Our score: 25.
