This movie should have been done by Mystery Science Theatre, but we don’t think it has been.  And what a loss.  There’s so much fun stuff they could have laughed at.

Sometimes it seems like they just didn’t finish filming certain scenes.  And they know an awful lot about a giant creature they just laid eyes on.  People’s reactions to things are also hysterical.  Martha flirts with the professor the whole time even though she’s with Dale and that’s funny to watch.  I mean, she’s holding either the professor’s hand or Dale’s hand in every other scene.  It’s so hilarious.  You can also see the strings holding up the crab monster.  It is the best ever.  It’s probably one of the top 10 funniest horror movies ever.

It is totally rewatchable.  It’s original.  We loved everyone, even Martha.  And the ending is great.  We recommend it totally.

Our score: 61.
