Written by William Peter Blatty. Directed by William Friedkin. Starring Linda Blair, Ellen Burstyn, Max Von Sydow, and Jason Miller.
Plot: 12 Year old Regan is plagued with strange happenings and her mother does everything she can to figure out what’s wrong, eventually enlisting the help of two priests, one of which has problems of his own.
This movie is an absolute classic. You have to watch the version with additional footage as the original author intended. Our mother can’t even watch this movie. She saw it for the first time when she was 13 and hasn’t been the same since lol.

There is little to nothing wrong with this movie. After all these years it still holds up really well without any ridiculous ploys or plot devices.
It has a great story with memorable dialogue, though it may offend some lol. Solidly creepy throughout the entire movie and not afraid to push the limits in a completely meaningful way. Tubular Bells is some of the best movie music ever! Incredible effects, especially for 1973.

My sister thinks Father Karras is kinda hot but she is weird like that. The end is kinda sad but not without hope for a new start. The part where Regan sees the priest’s collar and kisses him is beautifully done.
All in all we have nothing bad to say, i could go on about how great the relationship is between mother and daughter and how real it feels. The fact that the movie makes us fall for multiple characters and never leaves us bored. The performances are stellar all around from main characters to supporting cast. Tara gave it a 91/100 and I gave it a 92/100.
